There is huge age gap between me and my husband, almost 12 years. I want children but he always expressly says he does not want kids. None of this was discussed before marriage. If I try to tell him that relatives and friends will taunt us, he asks me to tell them to mind their own business. How can we live in the society like this? How do I convince him?

In today’s modern era, many couples do not want children because they need time for themselves but your problem is serious. There can be many reasons for your husband not wanting a child, but you have to talk to your husband for this as well as you will have to talk to your mother-in-law for this without any shame. Because they are the only means by which there can be a change in the mind of your husband. You alone should not face this problem, what will the society and family think. You brought this problem in front of your in-laws.
