My family got me married when I was 23 years old. I have never shared an intense love relation with my husband, him being a lot older than me. It has been a pretty formal relation with him from the very beginning. There is no spark in our relationship and I am not very happy with him. I want to be in a passionate relationship. I know that he is loyal to me, and respects me a lot. Even my in laws are extremely supportive and treats me no less than their own daughter. I just do not know what to do. Can a relationship survive without a physical spark?

We, as a society, have never valued the physical aspect between the husband-wife relationship. Intimacy is considered a means to produce children, not as an act of personal pleasure, at least not for women of our society.
That said, having a loyal and a respecting partner is also a blessing. You have to talk to your husband about your needs, even if it makes you uncomfortable. It could be that he himself is very passionate, but is afraid to scare you away? Talk and explore adult gadgets, watch naughty movies together, try different settings and positions, you can even go for a little bit of role-playing. There are a number of ways to spice up your life, provided you both are on same page
